It's good to talk ... always :-)

It don't take a genius to spot the leading goat amongst the flock of sheep

Boss is going interactive! Look, I got a 'special' mention on his brand new, fully interactive blog! NHS Exposed got a mention too! :-)

"Out there in the blogosphere, Sam at Chez Sam’s likes the relaunch: we’re both top notch and dynamic, whic is always good to hear. Thanks, Sam - keep checking back. Those are exactly the words we want to here, of course: after all, not so many months ago, Pulse Today was lamenting the silence of Lord Darzi’s blog (hat-tip to NHS Exposed). This new iteration will be more regularly updated than the last, more open to intense discussion, and will definitely update at the next mention of Starbucks."

OK! Starbucks, Starbucks, Starbucks! :-)

And, was that a 'very' successful interview or wot! It did much more than the intended message on 'patient experience'. Which was, of course, brilliantly delivered to the targeted audience and with the desired effect too. For it actually inspired some blogging GPs to innovate and bring out some of the best in them. With amazing results which we all thoroughly enjoyed! As boss, and everybody else always say, doctors have lots of talent to unlock ... and from my experience, people do need something out of the ordinary to inspire them .. and this interview was it!

Boss also said in that same interview that he 'doesn't do power', but you do boss .. the right type of power, Inspiration .. which is very much needed AND appreciated. Inspiration does come across in a 'very' powerful way in that interview and inspiration will always help people become more hopeful and thus innovate whichever way they can and with whatever tools they have, as this 'Starbucks' example shows. So, we hope for much more of same kind of 'power' .. Inspire us all and there will be a sea of innovation for you and for the NHS; the answer to your call for Quality.

And who knows, maybe one of us bloggers here may even grab us a million on the way .. or two .. one day soon .... And you know, this idea of a coffee machine/dispenser inside GP surgeries is not so bad either! Why not?! For the bigger surgeries of course so, see, maybe you should get the first of these prizes yourself :-)

It is is good for a boss to 'mingle', to make his presence felt, either on their blog, like Lord Darzi's, which is now up to date and fully interactive or anywhere else because it is inspiring when leaders do that .. sooo, more power, action and interviews pleeease .... and again, I hope those others who move our strings are watching .... Let's change British politics for the better too with us here setting the precedent .. and teach them ... After all, apart from the current 'hide and seek' practices, 'they' have proven themselves that they do need the education!

And ya boss .. intense R us .. always! Sooo, go for it, give us the topics or questions you want discussed and we will discuss and find solutions together ... go on leader, set yet another precedent to your list .. this time in communication with the masses you lead .. and hopefully the 'Ali Baba' crowd will be watching too, if they have the time in between their 'endeavours' of course .. and maybe learn a thing or two from us medics and their families here!

Modern times, modern politics .. if politicians want to know how people feel, they need to come down and find out for themselves!

Leaders from the people for the people!

I am sure this will prove to be the only way for the future too ...

Of course Lord Darzi can now be rightly neck named 'Top Goat' as well as 'Robodoc', a new collection to add to his already amazing record of achievements. Which makes me think, while reforming British politics, it is good to continue with the GOAT initiative started by Gordon Brown because, as the case with Lord D, it is a good idea 'when it works'. So, shouldn't the experts or GOATS appointed to help the government be neutral since they are non-political? ie, peerage in the house of Lords would change to create a new non affiliated to any specific political party peerhood/ship/whatever it is called? Which means that good experts like Professor Darzi can continue with their good work even if parties change hands at the elections? Continuity of implementing change to avoid inevitable mistakes in case of a change over?

Good idea, eh?
Cos I am innovative that way ... Reserve me that million .... :-)

And this new picture on top is very you Boss; the hands of the master surgeon, the leader with the vision looking up towards a bright future and the teacher mid-speechteaching and inspiring us all ... and since I like it AND I am a fan, I borrowed it from your site .. I hope you don't mind m'Lord :-)

And boss and team are posting under the name 'Admin' .. course I would remove the 'd' meself .. more ... well, you know ....

And, this is the 'first' movement, but as posted by me here, it is the third and last movement of the Spanish Concierto De Aranjuez .... very inspiring, especially when you know that the composer was blind from the age of three and was actually a piano player and never played the guitar himself .. the power of inspired innovation .. but ... the composer was first inspired by his wife mis-carrying though .. Still proves the theory of 'out of the ordinary' .. very enjoyable piece tooooo ... :-)

A fulsome GOAT by nature can and will excel all other human creatures ... sometimes :-)

Top GOAT ... by far .... :-)
